I do not recall if I mentioned it or not, but my sister has spent the last year in jail for having morally endangering her kids. My brother-in-law and his new wife currently have full custody of them.
I just received this message from him:
She pled guilty and sentenced to 20 years she has to serve at least 8 and will have to register as a sex offender. And cannot contact kids for 20 years.
My response to him:
Even though she's my sister, I don't feel sorry for her. Considering the background in which we were both raised, she should have known better than to do what she did. It's a pity she took the route she did, but perhaps she'll come out of it a better person for the time served.
