She pled guilty and sentenced to 20 years she has to serve at least 8 and will have to register as a sex offender. And cannot contact kids for 20 years.
My response to him:
Even though she's my sister, I don't feel sorry for her. Considering the background in which we were both raised, she should have known better than to do what she did. It's a pity she took the route she did, but perhaps she'll come out of it a better person for the time served.
I'm sorry. That's some rough stuff. I'll not comment on your sister but I will say I hope that the kids have all the love and support they need...they are the innocents in this.
I am thisclose to wishing my younger daughter would stop getting 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances with the legal system so that someone else could permanently raise her kids...it's a hard place to watch from the wings.
