There's a small (cat sized) marsupial in extreme southwestern Australia called the quokka. They've been given the sobriquet 'The Happiest Animal On Earth', primarily because they have no fear of humans.
Since the advent of camera phones, quokkas are gradually becoming diurnal. They seem to absolutely love having their picture taken, and more and more of them are being active during the day, because that's when people with cameras are out and about. This isn't a food response thing, as it is strictly illegal to feed wild quokkas due to their vulnerable status.
All the quokkas in the images above are wild.
