steps to repro:
1.Switch desktop to mobile theme
2.Go UCP > Edit profile
Bug: nothing to select and malformed date of Birth privacy field
Note: can't save because blank is invalid as well.
3. Switch to desktop mode and go to the same place

I was trying to establish an account on Atheist Forums all this week and after a long journey I feel I need to share my experience in the hope that something good can come out of it.

I first created an account and went to my user CP in order to set up the profile and other details. There was a link to "activate my account" by sending a verification email. After filling out the form I checked my mail. Then my junk mail. Waited four hours, tried again. Nothing. The next day came and I still didn't have a verification email. So I went to the forum to try to figure things out.

Well, I couldn't send a message to staff/admins without verifying my account. So I went through the private profiles of mods and staff until I found a member I could contact through another channel. Eventually we did get it all sorted. As it turned out, the site was not sending verification emails at all.

Which brings me to my suggestion.  Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the site, look in the lower left corner where it says "Contact Us." That link is dead. There is no mailing address associated with that mail-to link.  Could I get a site admin or staff to associate an email address with that link so that AF can handle problems like mine?]]>

Clicked the "lost password" thing.  Got a popup box that flashed briefly and disappeared.  So I did it again, and I still didn't have time to read it. 

My suggestion is that the box display longer, or that it be manually closed rather than disappearing on its own. 


After that, I followed the link and then was distracted a moment, and couldn't find the page.  I didn't want to click the last password thing again.  I closed every web page I had open, one at a time, and none of them seemed relevant.  So then I went back to my email to get the link again, and I had a new email.  It said I had a new password, so now I'm logged in

 


, but I don't know what happened.  Nothing ever directed me to look for a new email, unless it was another brief popup. 

So, anyway, just something you could look at.

I am still experiencing a couple of minor issues, if people have the spare time to look at them. I'm viewing the forum on the iPad's mobile version for these issues. I don't know if they also apply to the phone mobile version (I'm assuming it's different). I can get around them by switching to full version, but it would be great if I didn't have to Tongue

1) I can't rate users. I get as far as their reputation page, but when I click the Rate button, nothing happens.

2) If I've blocked someone and I click to show one of their messages, again nothing happens. Instead it jumps to the top of the page generally.

2) The pagination only allows for forward and back options and doesn't allow to skip multiple pages, this is really frustrating to navigate through when the threads span across a hundred pages  Undecided
