AF Hall of Shame (Post Edition)
RE: AF Hall of Shame (Post Edition)
The hate and bigotry just keeps getting better and better:

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Here's Jehanne using the death of children and a woman as an opportunity to bash Catholicism.

His rationale? The children and woman who burned to death are Catholic. Therefore they are stupid. And so they died because they are stupid.
....Which helps support his claim/belief that people of faith are idiots.

Disturbing to know that someone's bigotry goes so deep that they are willing to use the death of children in this way.

No, what I am condemning is stupidity, and the fact that religion, Catholicism, in particular, is often an aggravator of it.  Religion is a sickness, Catholicism, in particular.  I have more respect for your typical drug user than the typical church (or Mass) goer.  At least the drug user has the honesty to admit that theirs is a chemical fantasy, as opposed to an "intellectual" one.  Here's the SSPX, trying to wiggle out of their promotion of geocentricism:

But, Robert Sungenis, a traditional Catholic, already had the take on them:

Sungenis is a fringe nutter saying he represents  mainstream Catholicism is insane .

There is no choice involved in having a genetic advantage. Totally different than someone who's chosen to have surgery and live life as a woman and then chosen to compete in a competitive sport.

CapnAwesome's response is shameful.
Those we love are never really lost to us - we feel them in so many special ways-
through friends they always cared about and dreams they left behind, in beauty that they added to our days... in words of wisdom we still carry with us and memories that never will be gone... Those we love are never really lost to us - For everywhere their special love lives on.

I think it is sick that people who cannot understand that science proves our brains don't always match our plumbing think it is something that should be the baggage of others to placate their own insecurities. Those who get sex changes are only choosing to fix something. Our brains tell us what we want, it is over  simplistic to say we should always ignore that.

Humans should live the way they see fit as far as their sexual identity. I think others should understand the difference between our brains and our plumbing and stop making what we are born with the only thing that matters.

I think you may have misunderstood what he's saying. He's not saying people choose their sexual identity. He's saying they choose to undergo sex reasignment surgery and then compete in sports.

If the alternative is suicide is it really a choice?

@ CL even if the part about him wanting to exclude transwomen from competing with ciswomen wasn't as transphobic as excluding black people from competing with white people is racist, and even if gender reassignment surgey was really a "choice".... the part of his quote I have now bolded is the most bigoted part of all.

I didn't miss that, still doesn't change a damned thing. He still has a hangup. If parents are concerned you make it about weight class. Your sexual identity has nothing to do with your ability, it is your size. I have seen lots of females whom can compete with guys and lots of guys smaller than women.

The other absurdity is saying they just did that to get easy wins in sports? BULLSHIT, the person getting a sex change has to live with that change even when they are not competing, 24/7, and at some point they wont compete say after college and will have to get a regular job. This is utter nonsense. Unless you are as rich as Bill Gates, a sex change isn't like changing a shirt, once it is done, most people don't have it reversed. Do you even understand that the doctors who do those operations have a long term protocol that requires the one wanting it to live as the other gender for a year or two and also have mental evaluations to insure it is really something they want?

Nobody simply has one just to cheat at sports, that is bullshit.
