I said a few posts ago that I googled it and it came up with transexuals are often subject to verbal and sometimes physical attacks and I trust googles and matildas word for it......

So no I'm not afraid of anything, all of a sudden questioning something and asking for evidence is a controversial heated matter in an atheist forum topic.

I also said that I shouldn't have used the word attack since I was mainly thinking about rapes and peeping toms.

I don't think public restroom rapes are really common for any gender

I don't understand why the argument with Catholic_lady is still persisting:

A. therefore the chances of the majority encountering a "uncomfortable" situation is small.
B. the minority will then always be uncomfortable.

I don't think your math works. 

Even if it did, was it right that some whites felt uncomfortable with blacks around so therefore all blacks had to have their own hotel, diner, water-fountain, and yes bathrooms?

You're absolutely right. I am discriminating physical men (regardless of gender identity) from using women's bathrooms and lockerrooms. And I have 0 problem with that.

Well I suppose common is relative.  There's not been a wild free for all of rapes in my local city and local town center toilets but's there have numerous reports of it happening in the newspapers.  It's most often male on male rape.  And male on male peeping toms.  But in my city center the vast proportion of toilets are segregated and males aren't allowed into female toilets.

Thank you for making my point. C_L has  earned our respect through the kindness of her heart, her willingness to get to know us as people instead of just "the opposition", and her willingness to reconsider her position (sometimes-- she doesn't always agree, of course).

You attacked someone simply because they're a member of a religion you don't like. To my mind, that makes you as bad as any Christian Evangelical fundamentalist on this planet, and for the same basic reason.

Yknow, I really get off to the idea of fucking on a dirty piss-stained public bathroom floor. That's actually the only reason I ever go in public toilets. I just don't pee, my body has no need to, my sole purpose and function in life is fuck hard and fast in a filthy bathroom stall.



Anyone would think it was impossible to be sexually fulfilled by consensual sex in a bed or a sofa or a car somewhere... yknow, like a normal fucking person.

This video is specifically related to rape not increasing in America relating to transgender bathrooms not rape overall in any restroom.

Local to me it gets reported maybe once a year if that someone has been raped in some toilets.  But if that's just local to me my involving two main locations my local town and city, in the UK where they have a relatively low rate of rape, I imagine world wide it's not the most uncommon thing for someone to be raped in a restroom.  

It's difficult to find statistics exactly, plus I imagine some goes unreported, and if I search for toilet rape it's mainly porn that comes up.

You can't just say google it and be like "oh well, there's some statistics somewhere". If you're making the argument, it's on you to bring the evidence to the table.

Until then, I stand by it that you have to be a pretty sick fucker to want to get a freaky on in a filthy public toilet.

I'm not saying I googled it I'm not telling other people to google it.

I'm saying my argument is based on conjecture and it could therefore be wrong.  But that article someone posted wasn't related to what I was talking about.

It's a guess based on the fact that once or twice a year local to me there's a rape reported that happened in some toilets. I live in the UK which doesn't have a relatively high amount of rapes, and in Manchester which probably has less rapes than London or Birmingham overall.  And compared to places in India or Uganda it's most likely relatively a lot lower.

It seems reasonable to me that this would make rape in restrooms happen numerous times world wide but I don't know if I'd call it common or uncommon.  It's probably more common for someone to get raped in a restroom than a public library, but less common to get raped in a restroom than on a bed by someone you know.

Local to me it seems to be mainly male on male rapes but also if I was to guess I'd bet it was mainly female victims world wide, in places with outdoor poorly secured toilets in countries with high incidents of rape.
