What has Christianity truly contributed to humanity
RE: What has Christianity truly contributed to humanity

In 1881, toward the end of his life, Charles Darwin wrote to a colleague that the “more civilised so-called Caucasian races have beaten the Turkish hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking to the world at no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated by the higher civilised races throughout the world.”1 This was not just some offhand comment unrelated to Darwin’s science. It reflected important elements of his theory of human evolution. Indeed, he articulated this same principle in his scientific study of human evolution, The Descent of Man (1871), where he claimed, “At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races.”2 Not only racism, but racial extermination was an integral feature of Darwin’s theory from the start.

This is a position that has been articulated by many historians of science.3 Two prominent historians specializing in the history of Darwinism, Adrian Desmond and James Moore, mince no words about the racism inherent in Darwin’s theory. In their magisterial biography of Darwin, they state, “‘Social Darwinism’ is often taken to be something extraneous, an ugly concretion added to the pure Darwinian corpus after the event, tarnishing Darwin’s image. But his notebooks make plain that competition, free trade, imperialism, racial extermination, and sexual inequality were written into the equation from the start — ‘Darwinism’ was always intended to explain human society.”4

No one, what on Earth was your question again. Between all your cussing and blasphemies, I must have missed it. I'm not afraid of any question and have answered several. I also answered your question about Christ in the Hindu Scriptures in the other thread. You should listen to Aravindaksha Menon's Life Testimony, formerly a Devout Hindu, now a Devout Christian, as is his entire family, after experiencing the Love and Power of Jesus Christ in their lives.

Mister Agenda, to answer something else I saw you asked, yes, if you could say with a sincere heart what Lincoln did that I quoted, you'd be a Devout Christian too. Of course you don't believe that. Or do you? Do you believe the Truth is proven by All History that Nations are Blessed whose God is the Lord? That's what Lincoln said and if you believe that, then there's no debate and we've won.

Minus the commentay, what Darwin said was: 'more civilised so-called Caucasian races have beaten the Turkish hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking to the world at no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated by the higher civilised races throughout the world.'

Again, not an endorsement. Darwin was quite sympatheitic to the 'lower races', though it is a mark of him being a man of his time that he referred to less technologically developed societies as such.

Devotion isn't measured in quotes but by the sum of your life.

Darwin was a False Teacher, a False Prophet, a Vicious Racist, and a very wicked man. as was Marx also. Lincoln and Wilberforce, roughly his contemporaries, were far more enlightened.

As for Pope Eugenius IV, Saintly Pope of the Council of Florence that strove with all holy zeal possible to re-unite the Eastern and Western Church - which, if it had been completed fully may even have prevented the Satanic Atheist Bolshevik Communist Revolution from later taking palce in the first place - meanwhile said this 400 years before Lincoln and Wilberforce. Good Christian Men all of them with Good Christian Values and a Good Christian Life and a Good Christian Example.

"4. And no less do We order and command all and each of the faithful of each sex, within the space of fifteen days of the publication of these letters in the place where they live, that they restore to their earlier liberty all and each person of either sex who were once residents of said Canary Islands, and made captives since the time of their capture, and who have been made subject to slavery. These people are to be totally and perpetually free, and are to be let go without the exaction or reception of money. If this is not done when the fifteen days have passed, they incur the sentence of excommunication by the act itself, from which they cannot be absolved, except at the point of death, even by the Holy See, or by any Spanish bishop, or by the aforementioned Ferdinand, unless they have first given freedom to these captive persons and restored their goods. We will that like sentence of excommunication be incurred by one and all who attempt to capture, sell, or subject to slavery, baptized residents of the Canary Islands, or those who are freely seeking Baptism, from which excommunication cannot be absolved except as was stated above.

5. Those who humbly and efficaciously obey these, our exhortations and commands deserve, in addition to our favor, and that of the Apostolic See, and the blessings which follow there from, but are to be possessors of eternal happiness and to be placed at the right hand of God, etcetera"

This is what the Pope same Pope, with Fatherly Christian Love for All Christendom and All Humanity, including Men and Women of All Races, Cultures, Peoples and Languages, stated in the Council of Florence, which was a Re-Union Councils between Greek and Latin or Eastern or Western or Catholic and Orthodox Churches. The Roman Church has always been the True Mother of All Christendom, of all Her Children wherever they live. This was some 600 years ago.

Quote:"Let the heavens be glad and let the earth rejoice. For, the wall that divided the western and the eastern church has been removed, peace and harmony have returned, since the corner-stone, Christ, who made both one, has joined both sides with a very strong bond of love and peace, uniting and holding them together in a covenant of everlasting unity. After a long haze of grief and a dark and unlovely gloom of long-enduring strife, the radiance of hoped-for union has illuminated all.

Let Mother Church also rejoice. For she now beholds her sons hitherto in disagreement returned to unity and peace, and she who hitherto wept at their separation now gives thanks to God with inexpressible joy at their truly marvellous harmony. Let all the faithful throughout the world, and those who go by the name of Christian, be glad with mother catholic church. For behold, western and eastern fathers after a very long period of disagreement and discord, submitting themselves to the perils of sea and land and having endured labours of all kinds, came together in this holy ecumenical council, joyful and eager in their desire for this most holy union and to restore intact the ancient love. In no way have they been frustrated in their intent. After a long and very toilsome investigation, at last by the clemency of the holy Spirit they have achieved this greatly desired and most holy union. Who, then, can adequately thank God for his gracious gifts?' Who would not stand amazed at the riches of such great divine mercy? Would not even an iron breast be softened by this immensity of heavenly condescension?"

Darwin was a scientist while popes organized slavery, crusades, and Inquisition.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

The fact of evolution has no bearing on the nature of Charles Darwin

And What XN saying here is bullshit and just him regurgitating ID nonsense Also using Evolution News is bullshit as it's a propaganda site

Also, neither of  XN heroes believed in complete racial equality (after all it's not like Lincoln made Blacks full citizens or stopped American colonist policies and William Wilberforce fully embraced the British Empire whose very foundations were racist and built on a white man's burden mentality)

It's all an irrelevant red herring NX.
The ONLY thing that matters about Darwin, is that he proposed that Evolution may be true.
Darwin could have murdered a million people, but Evolution is still true.
Critical thinking is not one of Pissant's strong suits.
Science has confirmed that Evolution is the best theory we have, now, millions if not billions of times since Darwin was bright enough to see the possibility.

And Pissant,
if Aquinas is true, then the perfect god in making anything should have only made ONE version of anything.
There are many versions of most species.
What ? Their god didn't know which one was best ?

True the validity of an idea does not rely on the personal virtue of the person who discovered it. Is Issac Newton was a Sadistic Serial killer gravity is still true.

RE: What has Christianity truly contributed to humanity
The Lie of Evolution is refuted by empirical, mathematical and statistical calculations from the fossil record. However, the bad fruits of Darwin's Doctrine in Darwin's own life also evinces its falsehood. False doctrines, especially dangerously false doctrines that war against God, bear bad fruits.

The Good Fruits of Christianity all originate directly from the Savior's Direct Command: "Love your neighbor as yourself", for that is the Law and the Prophets. Also of ample and virtually innumerable teachings of His First Great and Glorious Apostle, all Martyred Christian Heroes in their own Right, after Jesus Christ Himself, the Greatest Hero of all time who saved the world.

Rom 13:8 "Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a] and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."
