Should children be violently abused without their permission.

Yeah, they just kept handing me pieces of paper asking me whether or not I wanted my sons snipped - I think I signed about 20 all told between the two. By the last few times they asked the question (I was starting to wonder how often fuckups occurred) I felt like telling them that the next time someone asked me whether or not I wanted my sons cut I would cut the questioner -on the spot-. Thankfully my wife has a more gentle demeanor than I and so she just took over from there.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

This confuses me, why do they ask that? I'm not sure about Europe, I don't know if it's legal to circumcise your newborn, but even if it is in some states, you need to require it specifically, otherwise doctors will just assume you want your son with a 'natural looking' penis.

I think we deserve to hear the details on this.

I'm circumcised. I never felt abused or any of that shit. I'm glad I was. I don't have to open my dick to clean it. My son is circumcised also. And no, I did not ask his permission.

The consensus here seems to be that its wrong to mutilate children without their consent.
But that it would be OK if once they were adults they gave their permission.

If a sexual deviant was to mutilate a childs private parts with a knife, they would rightly be facing a life term in prison.

I've only ever seen circumcised men in pictures. It seems like the top half is almost always a different color than the bottom half. I wonder about that sometimes. Like...why?
I don't like calling it mutilation. I mean, people have extra fingers and toes removed from their babies and it's not called mutilation. I was really excited when the American Association of Pediatrics stopped recommending it though.

Funny thing, once a girl popped out, they stopped asking us about circumcision. Tongue Seriously, it must vary a lot depending on where you are in the U.S. because the hospital was trending only 30% circumcised. But Boulder is not a "normal" place. It's trendy, lefty, overly full of PHDs and rich.

On that note we were asked [don't read if your stomach is easily turned]

What sort of pictures would those be then?

Foreskin isn't "extra". It's a feature, not a bug. You might even say it's ribbed, for her pleasure. Eat you heart out circumsicees, I'm slangin a godamned sextoy and all you have is herr helmut. Wink
