Um no, officer.  He was killed because some fuckhead with a gun shot him.  Take away the gun and no one dies.... but it is fucking Georgia, isn't it?

Last week, a gunman killed three people at a bank in downtown Cincinnati before he was shot to death by police.

“We’re seeing this across the nation, people taking handguns and shooting people with more than one victim at a time,” Youngblood said on Thursday, adding: “It’s just something that I hope we don’t become immune to.”

A shooter who injured four people, including one police officer, is dead after exchanging fire Wednesday with police in a district judge’s office in Masontown, Fayette County.

The male shooter injured Sgt. R. Scott Miller of the Masontown police department and three civilians, two men and a woman. All were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to state police.
