So, just because a girl is what you would consider good looking, her opinion holds more weight?
Mind you, this is not a commentary on your beard from me. I try not to dish out negative comments based on a person's looks and, personally, see nothing wrong with your beard, simply your manner of deciphering what is a valid opinion and what is not.
Well, being a heterosexual male I would think that a woman's opinion on his appearance would mean a little more than someone of the same sex. Just as when a woman compliments me, I take much more flattery from it than when a man does.. Because I happen to enjoy women. But I understand what you're saying, don't snap at me this morning! I've just gotten to school! >.<
