Anybody here into boxing fights? If so, did you watch Canelo vs Trout's fight?
I went bar hopping on Saturday to celebrate my birthday after the fight. This is my hubster and me before the fight. After the fight he was happy Canelo won. I was not. Many reasons. One, a friend of mine wouldn't stop talking during the fight, so I was distracted and it seemed boring (I'm not sure if it was her fault, or the fight was actually dull). Second, normally I have a clear favorite who I am cheering for, but this time I just liked Trout because he's so darn hot! Perhaps that's why I look so happy in this picture.  Plus they had beer girls all around... maybe that had to do with it, too. Meh! 2+2, 2x2, same thing.

I was beginning to get disheartened. After all, there's not a lot of light where the pots are sitting. But then the watering washed away some dirt, and voila...newborn cinnamon basil. And I feel like a soppy mess over the tenderest green points coming out of the dark earth.
