Zen and Kichi, your family is so beautiful! You all seem like a lovely bunch!

"Look auntie, we're monkeys!" Well, I'll say!

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

While they're up there.... gorgeous as they are....

Is there any fruit? And can they use a chainsaw?

And what type of tree is it? (Acer sp?)

It's Quercus an oak. No fruit, but plenty of acorns. They have apple trees in the orchard though, so during late summer there is a lot of climbing and eating in the treetops Big Grin
And chainsaws, hell no! Too young to use such a thing Tongue

You were right Quercus sp (if you don't know which "Oak" it is). So did those little monkeys gather some acorns for Auntie?

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeelll I had to ask. Could do with some pruning there, from what I see. Tongue

Actually, the game is to feed the ape-auntie leaves, which she is supposed to catch in her mouth. Very funny.. Big Grin
And yeah, it could most definitely use some pruning, but my sister's garden is huge, so the oak isn't a priority. The flowers, potato patch, the orchard, the lawns and the little greenhouse are bigger priorities. Smile

Some pics from J's garden, that I took last summer:

I have mostly no idea either what grows in her garden. The bigger part is planted by the lady who lived in the house before my sister's family (the lady was a great-aunt of my brother-in-law), so J doesn't know either what grows there. This is probably the most curious flower I've found:
