I'm half Maltese and I'm pale with blue-grey eyes and light brown hair. Genetics are random.

I tend to think of Germans being redheads, although I know most aren't of course. My grandfather (not on my Maltese side) was of German descent and ginger.

I have never heard that. Redheads are really rare here and redheads are typical for vikings.

As a child my hairs were light blonde but I don't think that they are blonde anymore. It is something between blonde and brown I guess.
Here it is me with 8 years (I am not sure). Maybe a typical German child.


Since then my hairs get darker and darker.

One of my best friends is half German and half Filipino. Maybe the best mixture ever. He looks Asian, but he has blue eyes and his name is Heinz. He grew up in Germany and speaks fluent German. When he gets angry, he screams in German, and it has resulted in some of the funniest moments in my adult life.

One time he was super pissed at me, and was yelling in German, and I was laughing, which made him more angry, which made me laugh harder.

I am trying to find the Throw Back Thursday picture he tweeted that was of a little Asian boy in leiderhosen with a little sign around his neck that said "My name is Heinz, if I am lost, please return me to...."

My mom is Norwegian, my dad was Philipino, but is dark skinned and wide eyed. I have dark hair, curly, gray/blue eyes. Freckles, but tan fairly easily. But I don't look especially exotic. My last name is considered Spanish, so people expect me to speak Spanish fluently, more like barely. Lol

My niece is half Philipino and I think she is extremely good looking in a hybrid way, as is her brother.

I took this photo of her on our way to the Oakland museum for a day of events for kids.



Not the best photo I've taken of her but it is one I can track down right now. You can probably tell we like each other pretty good.
