I remember thinking everything the "brother" of the Kingdom Hall my parents drug me to every Sunday told me was bullshit when I was about 6 years old.
Once, and I don't remember how old I was, the congregation rented out the LA Dodgers stadium for Easter to have a huge baptizing ceremony. I distinctly remember thinking everyone there was batshit crazy.
I then went through periods of belief and disbelief throughout my teenage years.
I then went through a few years pretending to be religious before finally coming out as atheist when I was 25. It's impossible to explain just how relieving that moment was. Never looked back since.
