Private school, yes? Well the two schools I went to were completely funded by the state, but because the state is too chicken to enforce its laws when it comes to the rcc the church dictates the nature of schools in Ireland (amongst other things, like whether it should pay compensation to the victims of its mass criminality).

Not a conspiracy theory when it's the truth. In my case I went through fourteen years of catholic exclusive schooling, when I should under Irish law and the constitution, exactly 0 seconds of catholic exclusive teaching.
