First, I'm not the least bit surprised, paulpablo gave kudos for that. Secondly, I singled out this one sentence, since it strikes a nerve. The above attitude would have gotten my family killed some 80 years ago. In fact, millions have been killed, just because of that attitude. You know, countries closing their borders because they owed the fugitives nothing.
It's convenient, if you're not among the persecuted ones. Sitting in your comfy chair and farting out everything you hear on the street from your beerhole. Well, there's that famous quote by pastor Martin Niemöller.

Bringing people in when you don't have enough police force to control them and don't have any biometrics/identifications to find them is both suicide and unfair. Unfair to all those people who got a good education, a job offer and went through all the proper channel and were declined, now here are some terrorists strolling in instead...
