Yes, the numbers are different. My point is that any event can be calculated as exceedingly unlikely if you rewind far enough back in time. But once it's happened, it's no longer an issue. You can't infer magic by looking at numbers.
I think that the issue, is that probability does come in to play, when dealing with sets. There is also an issue of timing and order. If I where to win the lottery, then it would be improper for you to say, that I didn't, because the probability is low. If however, I where to win the lottery not once, but multiple times, and every time, when I had spent all my money.... would you suspect something was up?
