Again, you think he's candidly evaluating the physicist's work.  I think he's only pretending to do so.  You think he's an idiot telling the truth, and I think he's smart guy lying.

Yep, or if not outright lying, major cognitive dissonance in play (so still some form of dishonesty).

Regardless, it's clear he can't afford to relinquish his position as top Christian apologist/debater even if he wanted to. He's stuck.

He reminds me of Father Corapi (just Google); the guy was a millionaire living the "good life" in California, hit rock bottom and converted to Catholicism and became a Catholic priest; after that, he climbed the evangelical Catholic ladder, and in the process, made his millions back.  After that, he left the priesthood (after getting caught with a prostitute), and is now, once again, living the good life.

Craig is rich; there is no doubt about that. He's basically a small business owner who touts himself as being an evangelical Christian philosopher.
