Secular dictator or not, what matters is that they are both seen to be terribly evil men by Americans and even by many Muslims. I don't like them either.
Irrelevent what you think of them. It is a very convincing theory that more people are more likely to be highly motivated to revenge by pictures of dead bin laden than by pictures of dead Hussein. In any case, the dead Hussein and sons pictures was issued by a previous administration with an stellar track record of moronic tough boy posturing and half-cocked braggadocio. It is rather disingenuous to urge a country with variable standards be consistent with the lowest standard it has set for itself.

Who cares what some idiots think about him? He is the president of America afterall, isn't he?
The media can show planes crashing into a building and people jumping off from the windows, over and over again, but now they are afraid of showing a picture of a dead man just because it's gruesome?
Because gruesome pictures of people you care about motivates you to revenge, whereas gruesome pictures of people your enemy cares about motivates your enemy to revenge.
So hopefully you might understand why we would be wiser to show gruesome picture of Bin laden's victims than our victims at a time when we are at war.
