There have never been any long term, double blind, scientific studies to prove that vaccines work - long-term, double blind placebo, scientific studies are the gold standard of scientific proof, and there is none where vaccines are concerned. Any drug, treatment, or procedure not proven by this gold standard of scientific proof is by definition, QUACKERY. According to the longtime media doc, Dr. Dean Edell, an ophthamologist, doctors would never want to deprive any child of the perceived benefits of vaccinations. So those studies will NEVER be done.

A PLACEBO is an inactive substance or preparation used as a control in an experiment or test to determine the effectiveness of a medicinal drug; another vaccine does not meet this criterion/definition.

Vaccines are tested by giving one group THE vaccine and giving the other group another vaccine; therefore, new vaccines are tested against an old vaccine whose side effects should be known, so how would anyone know if not giving a vaccine would be better? The HPV vaccine was tested by giving one group THE vaccine and giving the other group a shot of the adjuvant in the vaccine, aluminium.

The Salk polio vaccine was hastily approved with little testing by the FDA, only to have many children crippled by it as documented in the Cutter Incident, the cases that gave Attorney Melvin Belli his reputation as a product liability plaintiff attorney, and as documented by Dr. Paul Offit, MD of CHOPS in his book. The Sabin OPV is the ONLY cause of polio cases documented in the US between 1979 and 1999 and is no longer used in the US.
