His argument, taken seriously, was sexist and seriously misinformed regarding the reasons people don't like Clinton. People aren't not voting for her because they don't like her voice, they're not voting for her because she is dishonest and people don't like that.
Taken seriously, his statement "if you don't vote for anyone you're an asshole" is just ignorant. An election is about voting for the person who you want to be President. That's it. If there aren't any candidates that you want as your President, well, then you don't have to vote for any of them. That's how our democracy works, and it's a good thing.
Uh, no. The election is about through the act of voting, help precipitate the least bad outcome. That the act results in someone becoming president is entirely coincidental.
