My atheism religious faith is being shaken...

My first post on these forums and I must say I am shaking my head and scoffing at these "Sky is Falling" rants from people that I hope are just having a bad day. Trump is the President elect so grow up and get over it already, its rather childish (unless you are a child then disregard). None of the doomsday scenarios that have/are floating around happened and there is .......no evidence.....to support any of the ridiculous and fantastical doomsday scenarios. Remember that thing called evidence?  The path of this thread seems to be much more akin to religious prophecy and portents than a proper atheist discussion weighing evidence. Where is the logic here? Where is the fundamental reasoning processes? If you and others really are "shaken"  simply from a democratic election that didn't go your way then you never really had a solid foundation in logic and reasoning and would like to dwell in fantasy. Shameful masquerading or flip-flop attitude, which one are you or both? The hyperbole in this thread is shocking and hardly worthy of mentioning again if only to slap you down like the prophetic fools several of you are mimicking. After reading more on this site I hope to not find such religious droning from those that claim to be atheist. What a horrible introduction to this Athesist website......the moderators should be taking this trash thread and placing it a different area like "Ranting Without Reason". It doesn't belong in atheist discussion and only fools would think so, unfortunately.

I agree with you for the most part. It just that what Trump has proposed would do serious damage to the US and the world. Just the mere fact that he won't support climate change initiatives alone is going to be a major problem

The "world".......I don't delve into hyperbole its gets nowhere. I would be willing to continue this if you would bring up specific examples so we can "hash it out" as they say. I'm leaving for an early supper soon but leave me with a few specifics and I'll return in kind this evening.

This conversation with you has passed into the realm of fantasy. The only fact that has "happened"  in reality is Clinton fanatics causing riots, damaging property etc... so your hyperbole is without merit. You must be able to discern between the actual and what your mind is playing on you, until then I really cannot continue to speak with you on this particular subject for you are unarmed to deal. However, if its atheism and religion you would like to pick up for conversation I would be all to happy to commit to a new thread.

Its certainly clear that you have an enormously overactive imagination and are subject to extreme hyperbole and bouts of fantasy. This is only my fourth post between three people and you say I disagree with everyone and everything? Muslims wipe everyone out? Perhaps a world plague has gone through and I didn't notice that there only three people left in the world? Hmmmm, no. Get a grip, stop choosing to act the juvenile.

Yes. I certainly should have made that introduction thread first so you can understand where I am coming from but I'm leaving shortly and haven;t the time just now but my next post will introduce myself.
