Atheists, tell me, a Roman Catholic: why should I become an atheist?

Christians experience Christian miracles. Muslims experience Islamic miracles. They'd probably come to those conclusions about the same event.

And whatever way you slice it, millions of people are wrong in their interpretations due the contradictory nature of different religions.

Obviously they didn't arrive at their beliefs via logical and intellectual means.  So why would they use logic and intellect to interpret an experience when they can just use it to reinforce what they already believe instead?  After all, not thinking about things has gotten them this far and, hey, it may not have been a Nigerian prince who died and left them millions, but it WAS the prince of the world who died and left them eternal life!  Any minute now THAT will be arriving on their door step.  Any minute now...
Have you ever noticed all the drug commercials on TV lately?  Why is it the side effects never include penile enlargement or super powers?
Side effects may include super powers or enlarged penis which may become permanent with continued use.  Stop taking Killatol immediately and consult your doctor if you experience penis enlargement of more than 3 inches, laser vision, superhuman strength, invulnerability, the ability to explode heads with your mind or time travel.  Killatoll is not for everyone, especially those who already have convertibles or vehicles of ridiculous size to supplement penis size.
