As much I dislike Trump the fact that he has no business interests in the named countries seems to be little more than coincidence.
Sorry Tibs but this is not a case of Trump following up on Obama's work. It's clear that Trump felt/was advised to make good on his 'anti-terrorism' ban of muslims entering the country. If we examine the stats we see that there have been no attacks from within the US by migrant citizens of any of the banned nations. However all of the top ranked countries for counts of migrant terrorists are exempt from his ban. Why? If terrorist activity is not on his list of criteria for the ban, what are?
Is it not reasonable to suggest it could be a result of his well-documented personal relationships with heads of state from the countries in which he does business? Is it not reasonable to suggest that a man who has already taken great pains, on a number of occasions, to protect his business assets in spite of the conflicts of interest with his presidency, might do so once again?
