Stem Cells. I saw Mel Gibson go on Joe Rogan's podcast with the Doctor who's doing the work down in Panama. And the results and explanations are borderline magic. It makes sense, but it's pretty mind boggling. This is a snippit of the interview. There's 50 more minutes with more of the Doc explaining what exactly is happening.
The gist, is your body makes these cells that go around and trigger healing/repair, and you just produce less and less as you age. So they pump you full of a bunch of brand new ones, and they just go to town fixing shit.
If we weren't going to be facing some extinction events in the future, it'd be curious to see how long people are going to start living, because rich folks are going to be pumping these into their bodies on the regular and it sounds like we'll be looking at some serious longevity.
