@Quick: I agree, labels like this are just a shorthand convenience and they're not terribly important. Being "an atheist" has no impact on my life whatsoever. If I discovered God was real, it would make no difference either. Like you, I am interested in what values people hold. I care ultimately about their actions.

I'm impressed that you're now managing to separate these factors. We're all people, with all sorts of different world views, and atheism is a non-factor. Some theists base their world view around god; some don't. Either way, there doesn't have to be any conflict from this.

Sure, I was only offering a guess on your religiosity as you offered more information. I accept you don't feel you're a religious person. Neither am I. I find the whole thing ridiculous, but I have no problem with other people being religious as long as they aren't hurting anyone or forcing it onto people or into law.
