With that being said, what Neo said isn't incorrect, technically. Death itself has no greater meaning if nothing comes afterwards.

But, technically, he didn't just speak of no meaningful death. He spoke of no meaningful death entailing no meaningful life. Which makes no sense to me. The journey is the meaningful part. The idea that if there's no meaning at the end of it all then there is no meaningful life (life being the part when you're actually alive to experience meaning) makes zero sense.
