As a former believer, I find what you are saying to be completely unconvincing, and, to be honest, a bit disturbing. However, this is not a mental health forum and I am not a licensed therapist or psychologist, and so, we must leave things here.
In the big scheme of things, could we agree on a how to live one's life that would include a code of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, kindness? Is that so disturbing to seek to live by?
