If you want to believe in something badly enough, you can find all the justifications to do so. And I think you do really want to believe in something for fear of death, but cannot accept Christianity as is because of hell, so you modelled whatever makes you feel good upon the basic ideas of Christianity because that's the only religion you've had experience believing in, if you modelled it after Islam it'd probably be really hard to believe in it.

So well. That's that I guess.

Actually you are wrong in your own opinion. I am not believing in Mythology there is no doubt that Jesus existed so why are we writing off the fact that he could have provided us with some understanding of the world that we humans cannot.

Lets face it Jesus could well be an Alien for all we know - The Universe is large is this really outside of the realm of possibility. I Do not accept Christianity as is because it never sat right with me. It made little to no sense this way I can enjoy studying and reading the bible and picking at its holes while all the while finding truth.

We do know that before the big bang there was 'Energy' but no one knows where it came from or how it was created. The odd thing is that energy somehow formed matter.

Now many people can pull the -What if your wrong card but the way I see it is that Christianity is the only known religion that supports an eternal hell. Perhaps its because it is more modern in comparison to Zoroastrianism but in my opinion better to choose the 'Only' religion that threatens hell than all the others that teach destruction... Eventually!

I am not saying I have all the answers heck I dont and I am not saying I can prove or disprove God but what I am saying is a bunch of people in the early days believed Knowledge is the way forward and I believe that too. As an Engineer and Software Developer Knowledge is a key feature in my life and having 'Faith' does not sit correctly.

Maybe through my knowledge i will find its all false or maybe I will find a new enlightenment but for now I say its a new and exciting world.

Say what you want about God but do you not wonder why some really strange things just happen. I am more spiritual now than theological.
