Agreed. Their approach is simply to create a new reality with a separate set of facts. Also, their idea of "extreme" is on the left. Obama to them is a "socialist" while to those living in reality, he's an Eisenhower Republican, borderline on being a Conserva-dem.

They've gone so far to the right wing that the center, the left and the far-left have all merged together, like when you look at buildings on the horizon. These structures may be in reality far apart but from such a great distance, they all seem to blur together.

I would be surprised if Chris Christie was NOT nominated

He might be in jail by then. At the very least, I'm almost certain he'll be forced to resign in disgrace. I suppose I've seen stranger things happen than a Christie nomination but I think it's time to stick a fork in him.

I wanted Clinton 8 years ago rather than the inept annointed messiah.

Clinton lost my support when she not only failed to deal with her mistake in supporting the Iraq War (something I could forgive, seeing how a lot of people were lied into the collective hysteria that led to it) but then supported Bush's resolutions in a possible run up to a war with Iran. I'll support her now if she's to be the nominee but I decided in 08 to go with the devil I don't know, hoping he'd be better.

I agree he's been a phenomenal disappointment but that was my reasoning at the time. Given the information I had, it seemed the best choice at the time.

That too is a trend worth noticing. I hear he's the dumb one of the family.
