So do a lot of other medical procedures which are preformed, do we ban those procedures.

I personally believe that aborting fetuses just because they have tested positive for Downs Syndrome for example is personally aborrent. Also as more fetuses are found to have this or that genetic "abnormality", the odds are very high that they will be aborted.
However in spite of all that, I still support fully a woman or couple's right to choose.
I think what our resident utopia nut is fearing is that government will start forcing selective abortions. Now while governments can and have abused science, no one should advocate putting government in the position in making that choice for the doctor or the patient. Unlike the right who wants to force girls and women to have them regardless of conditions.
