well its gods fault for giving Lucifer and the angles free will. Basically Lucifer upon getting free will notices that god and remembering all the evils that he has done wants to overthrow him.
also if you go to hell and you had a pretty much carefree life and did no wrong but were an atheist or believed in the wrong god pretty much there is no need to get punished. when you think about it people call the devil evil only because a book said so and there really isn't a story explaining really why he is evil only god stating he is bad and evil and talks shit about him.
