The Bible has good bits (most of Jesus' teachings) and bad bits (see above). So, I'd rather rely on reason and compassion than that distinctly dodgy guide.

yep, again, totally get what you are saying, bad bits?...hmmmm, well i wouldn't call them that, but that was the old testament you were quoting from... the old laws, Jesus came and tore the whole thing up, showed us how to live, im a Christian, meaning i follow Christ and his teachings. dodgy guide though? its obviously going to be it you quote things out of context
