When you are up against a brain-teaser, you try and try until you give up... then you let one of your friends play with it... he'll repeat pretty much the same trials you did... as will everyone.
You keep seeing the same tactic, because it comes from different people trying to sort it out. Hint: they can't sort this out, because the brain being teased is ours, but we let them think it's the other way around!
