Where in your book does it say that the same principle does not apply to other books like Leviticus?
This really is not an answer; you're just saying, "Because."
I explained it.
Since Leviticus is Levitical law, Think of it the same way as our laws.
The law applies to everyone, but lawyers are the ones who practice it.
So therefore where Leviticus describes how to make an offering or sacrifice, that applies to the priests because they are the only ones with that authorization.
your normal layperson probably wouldn't know all the Levitical laws, that's the job of the priests.

The book of Leviticus explains to the priesthood (Levites) how they were to preform their duties.
Funny. If that were the case, why would Jesus have had to tell the crowd NOT to stone the woman to death, as per Leviticus instruction? And Jesus didn't say the law was inapplicable to her, but that only "he who was without sin" could rightfully do so. Of course, that would make one wonder why Jesus didn't stone her to do, supposedly having been sinless himself.
because they according to the Law were supposed to bring the man and woman, they only brought the woman.
Leviticus 20
10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
