He wrote about going on drunken binges, instead of just staying on a drunken binge. Going off of a drunken binge entails a time of sobriety, which puts people out of work. Suggesting that people should spend time sober strikes me as extremely irresponsible, as well as a detrimental to all of those hard-working individuals who labor to create alcohol, and in so doing, support their families. Do you really want to be responsible for causing vineyard workers in France to lose their jobs, or distillers in Scotland to lose their jobs, or brewers in Belgium to lose their jobs? Are you so heartless and cruel that you want these people to be out of work, and their children to starve? I say, drink up, and help keep people honestly employed!
