Well there's also the fact that women are treated like garbage in the bible, and viewed mainly as property. I doubt the ancient mentally challenged believers would have allowed property to learn to write, let alone let them write anything. Especially something they'd consider of importance.

Heck, I know Christians alive TODAY who think that women shouldn't speak in church or run for political office. I can only imagine how the neanderthals who wrote the bible would have reacted to the idea that women would have any real power.
