Little girl you have no idea what life is about, anyone just out of high school can't see for the ignorance in front of their noses. Live a life and then come and talk to me. You may think you live in a secular state, but even the Muslims will tell you this is a religious country. The Constitution does not deny me to practice my faith or vote it, so you see my faith will show up in my government and there's nothing anyone can do to stop it, by the way I vote and I vote both parties.

Firstly, you know exactly shit about me, my life or the things I've gone through. Don't. Just don't.

Secondly, the peoples of this country may be religious, but we're secular. Don't believe me, do a quick Google search on the Treaty of Tripoli. Since you likely won't, I'll quote the relevant portion, which is Article 11.

Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

It should be noted that this was signed into law by John Adams, who would have known very well the intents of our founding fathers. Make a little more sense now? Gay marriage shouldn't even be put to a vote. it's a human right and should be treated as such.
