The irony of allergies for an atheist:
#24
RE: The irony of allergies for an atheist:
I do the whole Bless You ritual ... like any good person does:

"Bless you my brother (or sister)." **Do the sign of the cross on their forehead while continuing...
"For your body has seen fit to cast out the unholiness within, and it is only with the blessing of the holy lord-father that you may yet retain your inner goodness." **Wave hands slowly above both of your heads and tap your feet slightly while continuing...
"The lord blesses the soul that is returned to it's host when it has been forced out by way of the nose." **Turn around in a circle and clap hands three times sharply while continuing...
"For it is not by the tissue, nor by the sleeve, nor by the farmers blow that we lose the good portion of our soul, it is of course by the influence of the Prince of Darkness and his evil spring pollen." **Make several high chirping noises and three more sharp claps while continuing...
"There is none among us who has not sneezed save the son himself who keeps track of all sneezes and knows of all soul expulsions through the nose. We thank thee highest father for thine dedication to our continued allergies to your world and it is our sincerest hope that we will continue to snot out the bad and bless back in the good." **Finish the blessing by smacking the sneezer in the face and then of course, kissing him on the mouth.
"Amen & Amen."

... see, that's just good manners right there. Hmph
