Brian, you really should stop making stuff up just because you think it supports your argument. Only a small fraction of the guns in the US will ever hurt someone so having a gun is not most likely to hurt you or someone in your home or neighborhood. Yes having a gun in your home increases the chances of a gun related injury to people in that home, but even twice as likely would mean an increase of risk from 0.02% for those living without guns to 0.04% for those without them for any given individual.
