The gun issue is becoming a drastic issue that needs to be addressed along side the many other issues, you have the ISP bill that will allow providers to sell your usage of the internet to ad company's. Then you have the these assholes who can not see that guns are not only killing whites, they are killing people of every ethic background. Other countries have just handled the gun issue better. The gun company's are too fucking greedy and want to keep pushing guns into every aspect of culture.
Gun culture has made it's way into every aspect of culture; even into language "He's a straight shooter", "He's firing on every cylinder" or "He's a straight shot". I've noticed that I'm guilty of it as well and have been working on removing gun references from my vocabulary. As we all should, I believe that once we start removing guns from popular culture, we will be able to have some type of serious changes.
I watched the after math of the Vegas shooting, the raw footage is disturbing. If the media showed the end result of mass shooting, more people would start to question why do we need weapons of war in the hands of private citizens?
Don't try to argue with the whole, "We need them to protect ourselves against our government". What good is a Ar15 going to against military grade body armor and fucking tank? We need to face facts here ladies and gentlemen, even if we wanted to, the odds of the people over throwing the government is next to impossible. You have seven people with semi-automatic weapons vs a squad of policemen and woman with body armor, riot gear, and training. Good fucking luck, your going to get tore up.
Is there anything we can do about this issue? Yes there is, it's not through protests or bullshit bills. It's attacking the money, if you cut the money we stand a chance to beat the NRA, as well as removing the appeal of guns from popular culture.
