The problem with stats like this is that they do not distinguish between the grunts out on patrol and the guys who are back at HQ keeping the computers running or driving a forklift in the warehouse.
I submit to you that a better indicator would be "what percentage of those who are out in the boondocks" have PTSD or other mental health issues. That might be too scary a number even for the army to put out.
