Stop it. Everything is NOT about self control. The conditions around you in your life have an affect on you. No one knows exactly what they will do until actually in a given situation.
You can control certain things in your life, but not everything all the time, especially not other people or the entire economy. To claim other people cannot have an affect on you is patently absurd.
