Sorry Quill, I cannot accept your blindness as sufficient reason to divulge to you the contents of my home. On the other hand, I would agree that I have an obligation to let you know that I have a two feet deep decorative pond in my yard.
My point here, considering your disability and safety, is to provide you with information that is readily available to someone that has sight; such as the contents of my yard. A person with sight does not have access to an inventory of my home so neither should you. An obvious exception would be on the occasion I invite you over to dinner. In this instance, I believe I have a responsibility to make you aware of the contents and layout of the rooms you will have access to. I still don't think this constitutes letting you know I own a weapon, unless I have it laying about.
