1 is not absurd. It's fact. Yes he's a billionaire, but he doesn't represent the political elite like Hillary does.

The reality is Joe Bloggs who works down at the corner shop isn't going to be president. Trump however is the furthest thing away from the establishment American voters have, compared to the other candidate who has any chance. That's the point here.

Right, he's not political elite, he's just plain elite. The Elie of the elite.

It would be like if I needed my roof repaired, and there was only one contractor in town. They are known to overcharge, and they use cheap mats, but they do know how to fix a roof.

So, instead I chose to hire a guy who's knows nothing about roofs, has never so much as swung a hammer in his life, and has a reputation for burning any project he gets involved in to the ground, and leaving other people to clean up his mess.

Even if you think Clinton's email neglect is criminal and not just poor judgement compounded, she is undeniably a skilled politician, and the alternative is to hire an unskilled criminal.

That leads me to answer the op. The upside of Trump as pres, is that he'd be so incompetent at the job that Congress and the house could pretty much ignore him.
