The thing is... the Social Justice Warrior style 'liberal' of "I'm so offended, agree with me or you're a bigot." Isn't actually liberal at all. Liberal is about liberty... And wanting people to be silenced because you're offended when people disagree with you isn't pro-liberty; it's anti-liberty. Wanting people silenced is ironically authoritarian. It's less of a 'regressive Left' and more of an 'authoritarian in another form.'
It's like covert Right masquerading as liberal. It's fake hipster liberal, it's "look at me I'm so liberal! Only not really and please shut the fuck up if you disagree with me." liberal. It's pretentious bossy liberal. SJWs aren't liberal at all. They're pseudo-liberal fuckers who wish to silence free speech as they demand their own free speech. It's all about "FREE SPEECH! FREE SPEECH! Unless you say something I don't like in which case I'll tell you you're offensive, have no right to free speech, and that you're encroaching on my free speech and need to be silenced."
