My point is that no one can be certain that they are correct. Many believe that they are, yet they all found different gods or different versions of the same god.
I know for a fact that God exists and that there are no other gods. God doesn't change so there are no other versions. As far as the false gods go, I would guess there are many different versions, whatever suits the individual works for them. The God of creation lays out for us who He is in the Bible and tells us He is unchanging, so there's only one God of the Bible even.

(A)I say as long as you seek God and (B) you will have to do it with an open heart, you will find Him. Then it's up to you to accept Him or not. I say many have found God and then rejected Him, and they want admit they have because they don't want people to know they have rejected Him for whatever reasons they might deem important.

Does that make sense to you? I have to take such things in mind when I search for truth, it's one reason why I'm no longer religious.
I know of no one who has claimed to have actually known God and rejected Him. Isn't it obvious that this is true, look around on this forum, all those who claimed they were Christians and are now atheist say there is no God, so they couldn't have known Him in the true sense or they could only say they reject Him and will no longer follow Him.
I know Him and can't reject Him, that's why I will always be His child.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
