TSQ, the secret not to fall on a bike, is to ride it fast
Hint #1: The faster you go, the more difficult it is to fall....
But then you have the part where you do have to stop.
I've found that it's important to set the seat at a convenient height. Some "experts" will tell you that you don't need to reach the ground with your foot, when your ass in on that seat.... Bollocks! I feel more confident when I can easily put a foot down while still moving.
Yes, that means that the seat is a tad on the low side and makes for a more difficult pedaling. Don't care!
Hint #2: keep the front wheel straight. I remember, a long time ago, as I was trying to ride a bike after not riding one for decades... the word the guy used for me was "rickety". When starting a ride, while still going slowly, as I felt out of balance, I moved the front wheel to compensate, somehow.... and failed miserably! So there I was turning the front wheel left, then right, then left, then fuck it I'm down!
Keep it straight.
