The Clare Glens are a series of small watefalls in the (small) Clare river at a point in Co Tipperary between the Limerick village of Murroe (of Glenstal Abbey fame) and the Tipperary village of Newport. As I said I spent my birthday walking up through them. I didn't go the full way about two miles up and two miles back (back being on the easy side).
