I miss my hair... I never really appreciated the struggles of bald people keeping warm before now, my eyes have been opened.
Quote:By the way, stupid CBS is charging DISH too much or some such balderdash so I missed last week's episode. Had to catch it on line the next. Bastards.
*hugz*
CBS is a network, they should be one of the channels you get no matter what because of, like, public safety concerns or something. When in doubt, though, just go get a digital antenna, that's how I get TV that's not Netflix or Hulu.

They know I'm on the forums but I don't know that they've worked out that I'm an atheist, too. It mostly doesn't come up because why should it?
We're not a hyper religious family and my mom is absolutely on the side of "It's the scientific, evidence-based way or the highway" with my treatment, just like me. It's only been recently (past couple years) that my dad has cottoned on to "praying for [this person]" or "thoughts and prayers are with [that person]" or "God has worked a miracle for [So and So]" but I suspect he does it at least partly out of social convention - he's definitely on the conservative, NASCAR-watching, protesting-football-players-hating, closet-Trump-supporting, anti-establishment wing of the world and most of his friends are the church-going, "prayers from Jaysus!" types. Hence the reason stuff like politics and religion don't get brought up in my family - there's something of an understanding that family comes first which is a lesson he and his cousins learned back in the Jehovah's Witness years with his Uncle. (Long story)
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
